On 21st december 2015, fondation rainbow bridge decided to allocate 117,765Euros to Planète Enfants to conduct a reconstruction, education and protection project, as a priority in one of those 8 villages in Nuwakot where the emergency actions have taken place.
We selected a school in the Thaprek village, in which all the buildings need to be repaired and/or rebuilt and which welcomes a great number of children on levels ranging/going from 0 to 102, in temporary shelters.
We wish to help to community rebuild a model school, providing better education and protection for their children in order to make them grow into more educated, responsible and autonomous adults.
Around this school, the trainings and the reinforcement of capacities of target groups (teachers, school management committee, women groups and local authorities) will also allow for better protection in the whole VDC, even district.
